To have a friend is something that I think we all have had, a friend is a person who you can trust as if he or her were your relative. In must of the dicionaries, it is difinited as a person attached to another by feeling of affection or personal regard. How ever; in my opinion, I think that a friend is a person who loves you and accept you as you are. I can say, that thankfully I have had a lot of good friend through my life. This essay I will focus my attention in two important people of my life, andrea and Marijo.
I met andrea since I was seven years old, we used to be in the same basket ball team!. We lived together a lot of memories, such as when we went to play basket ball in Texas, we knew our first cruches, we used to feel older together. Nonetheless, we stopped to practice basket, and we could not see us every day. But, since those times, we have met a lot of times to gossip and to know about our today’s life. We have likes in commo; for example, we both love to go to the palms casino! And for sure, we still love to play basket ball, it may be the reason why we still be such as great friends!
When I entered to high school, I met a great person, her name is Maria José, and we have been friends for 6 years. When I met her, I was not living my best time, my parents were fighting always. However I found in her, a friend who did not let me down, she always motived me not to fail at school. She told me what I had to hear, not what I wanted to hear. We lived great memories, such as our first “peda”, my first rides as a rider, and more. When we entered to the university, she went to live to Monterrey, however we have been in touch because of internet. Sometimes, she has came, and we have lived great memories, for example in the fair because we both love to party.
I know that they are different, even that I love both a lot, because they have contributed a lot to my life. That is the reason why I love them not like friends but also like sisters.

LAURA DE MEXICO SHOULD BE OFF THE AIR
Laura de Mexico is a TV program tuned in the open channels of Mexico, in the famous channel 2. It is supposed to be a talk show, however some people refuse that it is just a reality show. Laura de Mexico, before named Laura en America or Señorita Laura, was produced by the Peruvian Alberto Rojas Romero in 1997. This program started in Peru; nevertheless it has been tuned in a large list of countries including the United States, Dominic Republic, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia. Nowadays, the idea and the host of the program are showed in Mexico since January 2011. This TV program is about showing “real” cases of Mexicans’ social problems such as divorces, cheatings, abuses, domestics’ problems etc. in an explicit way, where the host Laura Bozzo tries to fix the problems up.
There are a lot of opinions about the content of Laura de Mexico, on this occasion this essay will state the idea about Laura de Mexico should be off the air. Following there are some reasons why Laura de Mexico should be of the air.
Starting with the first point, Laura de Mexico has been criticized for many reason, however the credibility is such an aspect that this TV program has been had since it began. It is said that the cases that are presented in the program are not real, it is also said that the people who supposed to have those problems are just normal people who receive money in order to say some critical situations that they are supposed to have.
It is believed that the schedule is not appropriated because it is tuned in an hour that all ages’ people can watch it, and according with the content of this TV program; the show is not recommended for kids. This TV program contents a lot of violence, and attitude that are not behaved appropriately for nobody, but especially for kids that are in the process of learning whatever they see. Laura de Mexico is tuned at 2 pm, time at which most of the kids arrive form school.
So, might the solution be to change the hour of tune? The answer is No; the reason of this is because the content of this TV program is not appointive for nobody. As it is known, TV has an important role in society; it is probably the most used media where people can get information. Mexican TV programs in general do not have riches contents that can be useful for population, but what makes Laura de Mexico worst that the others Mexican TV programs?. Recently, the website http://www.paulnoll.com ranked the 10 worst TV programs, and no unexpected Laura de Mexico was ranked with the first position, it said that the lack of credibility, taste and seriously, make it the worst talk show that has ever been invented.
People can say that the decision about to watch or not watch “Laura de Mexico” is personal, and nobody forces anybody to watch it. Conversely, people with fewer resources are the ones that are used to watch this program, a big part of them watch it because they do not have something more educative program to watch.
To conclude, Laura de Mexico is a very common watched TV program, not because it is very interesting, it is for the reason that people can watch it easily. So why not to tune something that helps Mexican society?. We all know that TV is an easy communicative media that nowadays every people have access of. I think that TV has a big role in the today’s society, and why not to transmit useful information in order to make or country better?.

My Father
This essay is about how a perfect father looks like for me.
People could say that the perfect father does not exist, I actually do not know if that is true, but what I surely know is that my father is perfect for me: Everything in my father is special; the way he dresses, the way he moves, the way he behave, the way he speaks etc. Sometimes, I just think that it could be great, if I could be a petit percent of what he is. But let’s start to describe the way that my father looks like.
At first sight, you could see that his clothes are classy and formal; however, if you know him as I do, you could notice that he dresses all kind of clothes; tight-fitting, dark clear, cheap, expensive, soft, formal, informal, sportive. All his clothes are different, and I like them, but being honest, there is a jacket that I do not like at all, it is heavy, brow and in my opinion a little bit oldie. His clothes fit well with the way he looks, my father is tall and thin, he always has his hair cut short, and he is grey- haired. In other words my dad’s appearance is simply unique.
Moving to his appearance, I could say that the way he acts and moves is an important part of his personality. For example soothing particular of him is that he tends to walk very quickly, this may be the reason about why he is that thin, he walks a lot everywhere, and I frequently believe that he does not walk, he jogs! Taking about the way he eats, he has a particular way to twist his tortilla and to make some kind of cone, then he chews it without noise, he loves to eat and every time that I eat with him, I wish I could enjoy my food as he does. When he eats, he tends not to speak; however, when he speaks is another story. When he speaks is easy to notice his expressions, because he always frowns; when he has doubts, he always smiles when he is happy, and he always is serious when he is worried. His expressions are something that makes even more interesting to listen to him.
He is the kind of person that is interesting to listen. I could say that when I listen to him I can learn something. Every time that I want to have an honest opinion, I always go with my father, because he gives me his opinion from the bottom of his heart. In the other hand when he needs to tell me something, he waits the perfect time to tell me, somewhere where it is calm and relaxed. And if it is something bad; he always tries to give me his advice, when he gives me some advice, it is important for me because I can feel the support that everyone needs, when my father gives me his support, I can feel confident and safe
My father is the kind of person that does not show his feelings a lot. But I could say that he can be though; however, when his with me it is not like that at all, he might not kiss and jug me every single day, but when he does, it is what I consider the most sincere actions that someone can ask for. When e hugs me, I feel warm and loved, his hard skin becomes a soft thing. To conclude, some people may think that this essay is a little bit too cheesy, and maybe it is, but I do not care because there was not someone else that I wanted to describe like this. I have the wonderful opportunity to have this awesome father.

My name is Cupuri Portal Santillán, I am 20 years old as well as I was born in Mexico City, however nowadays I live in Aguascalientes, I like to be busy and that is why I have done a lot of extra activity through my life, I study the B.A in English Language Teaching in UAA, and my goal in life is to become someone who help people with my career, and believe it or not, my life have been as easy as it see but I am ready to do what I have to do in order to be completely happy.
My close family is integrated by My father José Eleazar Portal Garcia, my mother Martha Santillán Garcia, also I have 3 gorgeous sisters; Nelli the elder, Itzel, and my twin Iyari, and I can say that they are the base of what I am today. In live in the same house as my dad and Iyari, Itzel lives with Joab her husband, and nelli lives with Ricardo, and finally my mother lives by herself. I have a large family including my maternal and paternal relatives; I do not have a lot of contact with my mother’s family, in the other hand I can trust and count with almost all my dad’s family. I know that I do not have the perfect family, but who have it? That is why I am happy about how my family is, and thankful about how they are.
All the members of my family are from Mexico City as I am, the majority of my mother’s family still stay in Mexico City, however the most number of my dad’s family live in San Juan del Rio, Qro. I have some family here in Aguascalientes; even I was born in Mexico City I believe that I am from Aguascalientes because I actually do not know Mexico City, because when I was 11 moths my parents took me to Aguascalientes.
My whole education has been in Aguascalientes, fist my kindergarten was in the “Ignacio Garcia Telléz” whom miss Annie was my teacher, then I took my first three grades of elementary school in “Magisterio Nacional” and my teachers were Francisco and Tere, I studied the others three grades in “Instituto Convención de Aguascalientes” and my teachers were Francisca, Elisa and fabiola, I have to admit that at the beginning I did not like the change of school at all, but at the end I really love it. When I finished the elementary school, I entered to “congreso de Anahuac” junior high school, it was not the best experience of my life, but was okay. Three years after, I was confuse about what high school I should choose, it was between “UVM” and “ BachUAA”, but finally I Choose BachUAA, and I do not have any regret because there I met the best friends that I could ask for. Finally in 2009, I decided that I wanted to be an English teacher, I have to admit that I was not sure, because my elder sisters had studied that, and I was worried about what people could say, but the I realized that what really matter was what I want, and here I am studying to become a great English teacher.
I do not know why, It might be because my twin and I were two mischievous little girls, my partners took us to make a lot of extra activities, for example when we were 3, we had our first swimming classes; then when we were 8, we became pianists and gymnasts; at the age of 10 we started our basketball practice. Have had those activities in my life is something that I want to thank my parents, because those activities gave me the opportunity to know how winning or losing a race, practicing routines insider or watching TV feels like. Actually these activities gave some no common experience that I really enjoyed, for example when I went to pay basketball in the United States.
To conclude I want to say that I have had a lot of ups and downs in my whole life, but I believe those are part of life, and bad times are just to appreciate good times. I have a lot of dreams and goals, and actually I am following some of them, but what I always have in mind is that life is not perfect, and I have to handle with the problems that I can find, and of course always believing in myself.
